Enrico Labriola
Photographer, Teacher & FPL co-founder
Born in Basilicata, he moved to Milan when he was 17 years old to study photography under Giovanni Chiaramonte. He worked as an assistant to various fashion photographers and travelled internationally on multiple productions. When he was 24, he began collaborating with record labels such as Virgin Music and Sony Music. In 1997, he opened his first studio in Milan and became the official photographer for the Berlusconi family for about ten years. He conducted a photographic reportage on African music in Burkina Faso in 2000, which was exhibited in galleries. From 2001, his work appeared in major magazines like Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Grazia, and magazines from the Mondadori and RCS Group, with which he created various covers and editorials for Style Magazine, Panorama, Paris Match, Max France, Maxim, and others, capturing celebrities such as Donatella Versace and Brunello Cucinelli. He worked with agencies like Getty Image and Contour Paris, and shot advertising campaigns for renowned fashion brands besides collaborating with Pitti Uomo, Pitti Immagine and Pitti Fragrance. In 2012, he started his adventure in the teaching world at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. In 2019, he co-founded the creative factory Occhi Bianchi in Milan. His passion for travelling, commitment to teaching and love for fashion brought him to this new idea stemming into FashionPhotographyLab.
